The anti-Miller crowd (which probably includes everyone not on welfare), needs to unite and back one candidate to kick him out next year.

I actually support the City and I think we should stand strong against CUPE. Not that I am aginst Unions, I just do not support the sick day issue. I blogged about it here - http://insideanutshell.blogspot.com/2009/07/cupe-strike.html - and I am willing to live with the garbage until CUPE caves. I also wonder why they (CUPE/Unions) think their members should get automatic wage increases. The CITY offered CUPE 7.4% over 4 years. Great, their members can sit around doing what they have always done and get raise. Raises should be results based not given just becasue you showed up. We can clean the garabe and live with it. It shows us just how much crap we generate/waste and I think it is worth it to send the message to CUPE that we will not be held histage to their unreasonable demands.
