Ollie, R. I. P.

My brother's cat, Oliver, died yesterday. I am so sad. He was a member of my family. He was 21!
Here's how he started out, a little street kitten my brother took in and named after Oliver North.
Here's a picture I took at Christmas, 2005. I am proud that I was one of the few, other than my brother and his wife, to get anywhere near Ollie. But as you can see, he looks fairly disgusted with my presence!
Three years ago, the vet told my brother that Ollie would not live another three months. Ha! Oliver sure showed 'em.
I am certain my brother will post about Ollie in days to come -- I will link at that time.

I'm sorry to hear that Ollie is gone. I know you and your brother will miss him. He was a lucky cat to have had caring humans who rescued him and kept him safe for 21 years.
