The CRTC

Last night I attended a speech at the Spoke Club -- part of a Fraser Institute series. Andrew Coyne discussed the CRTC. In summary, he said, "The CRTC sucks and even if it didn't, in this day and age it's obsolete and we should get rid of it." Here's a picture from the evening -- left to right, Greg Staples, me, Gerry Nicholls, Claudia Hepburn and some lady whose name I don't know, but it looks like her nametag says, "Pauline Someone-or-Other." Claudia is amazing. She makes wine appear. At one point, the bartender guy told us, "There's no more wine." And Claudia went and yelled at someone, and poof -- waiters carrying wine!
